WHAT IS LAMINATION? Lamination lifts the eyebrow hairs and sets them in place giving them a fuller, and fluffier appearance. Lamination lasts from 4-8 weeks.

WHAT IS TINT? Tint gives the brow more shape, colour, and boldness. Tint is perfect for dying the lighter hairs in your brows giving them more shape and fullness. Tint lasts up to 2-3 weeks.

PRE-APPOINTMENT:

• Do not use retinol products around the brow area two weeks before & after your appointment.

• Recently got your brows microbladed? Wait a minimum of one month to get this service done.

• Eczema? Wait until it has cleared.

• Broken skin? Wait until it has healed.

POST APPOINTMENT:

• Avoid getting water, steam, saunas, sweating on your eyebrows for 24 hours

• Do not touch your brows or sleep on your face for the first 24 hours post-appointment, as the hairs are still setting.

• Do not use retinol products around the brow area two weeks before & after your appointment.

• TIP: Avoid applying oils, serums, and moisturizers on or around the brow area to lengthen the duration of lamination.

WHAT IS A LASH LIFT? Lash Lifts & tints are a perfect natural enhancement for flirty eyes. Giving the lashes a semi-permanent curl and tint to mimic light mascara used with a lash curler. This service opens up and lifts the eyes, giving a flirty and youthful appearance.

PRE-APPOINTMENT:

• Remove all eye makeup, creams, oils, serums from the eye area.

• Remove lash extensions

• Eczema on the eye area? Wait until it has cleared.

• Broken skin? Wait until it has cleared

POST APPOINTMENT:

• Avoid getting water, steam, saunas, sweating on your lashes for 24 hours

• Do not touch your lashes or sleep on your face for the first 24hours post-appointment. As the hairs are still setting.

WHAT IS MICROBLADING? Microblading is a natural-looking semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo. It gives natural-looking fullness and structure to enhance one’s brows, without much maintenance once healed.

For those who want to give their brows the structure, shape, and/or extra fullness they can not develop naturally, microblading is the perfect solution for you.

Microblading, or brow feathering, is the manual process of implanting colour pigment under the skin surface using tiny, sterile disposable needles to establish the illusion of hair-like strokes that improve the natural characteristics of your brows. This technique enables us to create a hair-like tattoo.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? 1-3 years. This depends on the individual’s lifestyle, skin type, pre & post-appointment care.

PRE-APPOINTMENT:

• Do not use retinol products around the brow area two weeks before & after your appointment.

• Bring along any reference photos if you have an ideal brow shape or colour in mind. While we generally will work around your natural brow as much as possible it helps us get on the same page.

• If you fill in your brows on a day-to-day basis, come with them filled in so we can take into consideration the shape you desire.

• If you normally have your brows shaped and waxed, please book to have this done at least 3 days before your appointment.

• Avoid tanning beds or any sun exposure for 30 DAYS before and after. Any hot vacations need to be avoided for 14 days after the procedure and great precaution must be taken to keep the brows protected in the sun. We will not work on sunburnt skin and any sunburns post-treatment will cause the skin to shed prematurely and result in the loss of pigment.

• It is required that you avoid any blood-thinning medication for a minimum of 72 hours prior to your appointment. This includes Vitamin E, Aspirin, Niacin, fish oil supplements, and Ibuprofen.

• No alcohol the night before or the day of your appointment and it is recommended that you limit the amount of caffeine you consume.

• You MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure if you have been on prescription Accutane.

POST APPOINTMENT:

• Avoid direct water on the brow area. Also, avoid pools, jacuzzis, excess sweating, saunas, and botox for a minimum of 10 days.

• Apply aftercare balm to your eyebrows twice a day, for 7 days. Never let your brows feel tight or completely dry as hydration is key.

• Any facial products containing Retin-A, AHA, or any kind of skin peel may not be used, as they will fade and possibly distort the procedure area.

• Flaking and crusting will occur as the skin heals. You will need to refrain from touching your brows during this time as picking at them may cause a loss of pigment and scarring.

• No tanning or direct sun exposure for 10 days. Avoid up to the next 30 days if possible.

• You will not be able to use any makeup in your brow area during the initial healing time. Wait for a minimum of at least 2 weeks.

  We have little control over the several factors that affect the healing process (i.e how you take care of your brow tattoo, how your skin heals and retains pigment, skin type, etc.). With healed results, there is no guarantee.

Additional touch-ups are necessary for full healing results in 6-12 weeks. Since we use a feathering procedure (to mimic hair), you can also use brow makeup to achieve the look you desire.
